How do I calculate percentage increase?
Subtract the original value from the new value, divide by the original value, and multiply by 100. Example: from 500 to 650 → (150 ÷ 500) × 100 = 30%.
What if the new value is smaller?
Then the value decreased, and the result will be negative — use the percentage decrease calculator for a clearer breakdown.
