How do I calculate 20% off a price?
Multiply the price by 0.8 (you pay 80% of it). The calculator shows the same result as the discount amount and the final price.
Is 20% off then 10% off the same as 30% off?
No. Sequential discounts compound: 20% off 100 is 80, then 10% off 80 is 72 — effectively 28% off, not 30%.
